Avery Johnson is currently a senior at USD pursuing a double major in Communication Studies and English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Originally from Colorado, she traded the mountains and snow for the sunny beaches of San Diego. On the weekends, you can find her paddleboarding in the bay, running at the beach, and exploring all that San Diego has to offer.
Avery served as Vice President of Standards for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. As an active member of the Greek community, she also is a member of the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society. She is also involved on campus in the College Republicans club. When she isn’t in class, Avery works in the Undergraduate Admissions Office as the Social Media and Marketing Intern, a field she would like to potentially enter after graduation.
